Availa Bank Hits One Out Of The Park With Miracle Field Donation

The Carroll area really knows how to get behind a good cause, and another local business has stepped up to the plate in support of one of the best efforts in the area. Availa Bank has made an incredibly generous $10,000 donation to the Miracle Field fundraiser, becoming a Champion donor to the baseball/softball complex that can be used by individuals of all intellectual and physical abilities. The proposed site for the new field is next to Carroll’s first all-inclusive playground, Kellan’s Kingdom, at Northeast Park. Parents of the playground’s namesake, Pat and Alie Tigges, have been instrumental in founding and fundraising on both projects and Alie says they are hoping to reach a $300,000 goal by spring. This would allow them to break ground. With Availa Bank’s pledge, they are now sitting at $200,000 raised for the Miracle Field. Donations of any size are welcome and can be done by contacting the committee at 712-830-5381. For those giving $500 and up, there will be different levels of representation at the field. They include: Fan Club from $500 to $999; the Super Fan from $1,000 to $2,499; MVP ranges from $2,500 to $4,999; the Angel in the Outfield is a $5,000 to $9,999 donation; Champions range from $10,000 to $24,999; and the Hall of Famers cover everything over $25,000.
