Authorities in Sac County report they have seized multiple items after executing search warrants in Lake View over a span of nearly two weeks. The Lake View Police Department, with assistance from the Sac County Sheriff’s Office, the Sac City Police Department and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR), conducted the searches between March 23 and April 5 and located numerous drug-related materials. The seized items have been sent to the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) laboratory in Ankeny, and charges are expected to be filed pending the results of testing. Authorities have not released the details of the investigation but indicated it does remain ongoing.
