An investigation into the drowning death of a six-year-old Carroll boy in Glidden on Saturday is ongoing. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office reports a 911 call came in about an unresponsive young male at the Glidden Aquatic Center at approximately 5:21 p.m. CPR was initiated at the pool by personnel on scene and rescue workers and law enforcement arrived, continuing life-saving measures. The victim, Kadyn L. Sporrer, was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll by Carroll County Emergency Medical Services, where he was pronounced dead.
