The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is working with the Remsen and Le Mars Police Departments and the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office in investigating the disappearance of a Remsen woman. Authorities report that 27-year-old Nicole Ann Trometer was last seen Sunday morning, Sept. 1 in Le Mars with a man identified as 34-year-old Daniel Kittredge. Trometer has two vehicles registered in her name, a 2013 white Dodge Durango Citadel with Iowa license plate IAA 432 and a 2004 Silver Ford Explorer XLT with Iowa license plate IHY 475. Authorities have not located either of these SUVs. Anyone with knowledge of Trometer or Kittredge’s whereabouts or any information regarding the location of her vehicles is asked to contact the Remsen Police Department at 712-786-2299.
