Audubon County residents are invited to join local law enforcement this weekend for a fundraiser in support of the Audubon County Crime Stoppers. Chili, oyster and vegetable beef soups will be served alongside sandwiches, bars and drinks from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Memorial Building. Families are encouraged to bring their children along as McGruff the Crime Dog will be making an appearance during the event. Tickets can be purchased for $8 for adults, $4 for children 12 years of age and younger and preschoolers eat for free. All money raised will be used to support Crime Stoppers and the rewards they offer for tips that lead to an arrest.
