This is a busy time of year for the Carroll Chamber of Commerce, and one of the items they are working on is the upcoming Chamber Banquet. This year’s event is on the first Monday of February, the 4th, at the Carrollton Centre. Chamber Executive Director, Shannon Landauer, says they are encouraging all of their members to attend.

She says they take a look back over the past year and honor those who have been instrumental in Carroll’s successes. But awards are not just for that small window of time. Many are based on the work done by citizens throughout their history with the community.

The Chamber is not the only one deciding who will receive some of these awards. There are panels of judges who have been reviewing the nominations received.

The banquet begins with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the awards program at 7:15 p.m. Individual tickets are available at the Carroll Chamber of Commerce office for $30 each or table reservations for eight at $250.
