An Atlantic native and the current Cass County Attorney has been appointed as district court judge for the Fourth Judicial District by Gov. Kim Reynolds. Michael Hooper received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and his law degree from Creighton University Law School. The Fourth Judicial District includes Audubon, Cass, Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie and Shelby Counties.
