The 22nd Annual Lake City Fire Department Pancake Fundraiser is coming up this weekend. On Sunday, April 28, members of the fire department will be at the Lake City Community Building and will serve breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Attendees will be treated to pancakes, eggs, sausages and drinks for only $5 per couple or $10 per family. Children three years old and younger eat for free. In addition to breakfast, firefighters will be awarding door prizes each hour during the event. All money raised will be used to purchase equipment for the department, with a focus on acquiring a new “Jaws of Life.”
