The Carroll Rotary Club will be welcoming a special guest on Monday, Jan. 15. Bob Fasbender, who is actively involved in fundraising for the Brushy Creek Honor Flights, says they are excited to be able to discuss these trips that give local veterans a chance to see the country’s memorials to their service.
Although there has been no definite details posted about the next flight from Fort Dodge, there will be another supper hosted later this spring to provide more details on the 2018 schedule.
On Monday, Jan. 15, Newsome will begin his presentation at noon at Santa Maria Winery. Any veterans interested in attending are asked to contact Fasbender through the details included here.
