Two Vehicles Totaled In Collision At Uncontrolled Intersection Near Breda Wednesday Morning

Two vehicles were totaled but the drivers sustained only minor injuries in a rural Carroll County crash Wednesday morning. At approximately 11:01 a.m., the Carroll County Sheriff’s office responded to the uncontrolled intersection of 110th Street near Ivy Avenue. They found that 50-year-old Scott Allen Greve of Auburn was westbound on 110th in a 2014 Chevrolet K1500. At that same time, a 2016 Chevrolet K2500, driven by 66-year-old Larry Francis Stangl of Manning, was northbound and the two vehicles collided in the intersection. There was an estimated $18,000 in damage to the Greve truck and $30,000 to the Stangle vehicle. Both men complained of possible minor injuries, but neither was transported for treatment. The deputy reports that both of the drivers had obstructions to their vision at the four corners due to the tall corn. No citations were issued.
