The Carroll Police Department arrested two men early Saturday morning for a fight that occurred at Ossy’s Show Club. According to court records, 25-year-old Richard Warren Pratz, of Preston, Mo., and 33-year-old Kristopher Keith Johnston, of Urbandale, allegedly engaged in a physical altercation at approximately 12:15 a.m. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Johnston, who stated Pratz had initiated the fight by throwing a punch. Johnston reacted by striking him in the head with a glass cup. Pratz had left the establishment before law enforcement arrived and required medical treatment for a cut to his ear. Both men were arrested and transported to the Carroll County jail where they were charged with disorderly conduct, a simple misdemeanor. They were released after posting a $300 bond each. Pratz is scheduled to appear at the Carroll County Courthouse on Thursday, July 12, and Johnston’s appearance is slated for Thursday, July 19.
