Two Arrested On Drug Charges In Scranton

A joint effort between the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Jefferson Police Department resulted in the arrest of two men on drug charges. At approximately 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, authorities executed the narcotics search warrant in the 1100 block of Lincoln Street in Scranton. During the search, marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found. Subsequently, 23-year-old Kole Higgins of Scranton was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver, gathering where controlled substances are used, unlawful possession of prescription medications, possession of methamphetamine, keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substances, failure to affix a tax stamp, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while barred. Thirty-one-year-old Justin Baker of Grand Junction was also arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, third or subsequent offense, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
