Three People Arrested On Burglary, Forgery And Drug Charges Wednesday In Carroll

Three people have been taken into custody by Carroll County authorities on burglary, forgery and drug charges. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and the Carroll Police Department executed a search warrant at 1115 North Main St., Apt. 3 at approximately 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 29. Once inside, officers located several items from recent burglaries, a firearm, drug paraphernalia and substances suspected to be methamphetamine and marijuana. Twenty-six-year-old Nicholaus Augustus of Carroll has been charged with two counts of third-degree burglary from two separate business break-ins in Glidden, forgery and possession of burglar tools. He is being held in the Carroll County jail on a $17,000 bond. The other two people arrested, 25-year-old Rohan Mclachlan, formerly of Chicago and now living in Carroll, and 19-year-old Destiny McDonald, formerly of Oregon but who is also now residing in Carroll, were each charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Both have already pled guilty and been sentenced to two days in jail. Carroll County Sheriff, Ken Pingrey, reports that these arrests are part of an ongoing investigation, and further charges are expected.
