Jefferson Matters: Main Street is bringing baseball to downtown starting this week with “Hit a Homerun” promotion. Customers are asked to shop locally in the downtown district from April 1 through April 15, walking the bases and looking for the baseball sack to sign up for a drawing. On April 16, one lucky winner will be drawn and will get the chance to select the print of their choice from one Kevin Richard’s sports prints. There is no purchase necessary to win, but the promotion committee is encouraging customers to cross home plate with a score by supporting the local businesses.
