The driver involved in a single vehicle accident Wednesday south of Carroll complained of possible minor injuries, but elected to be driven home by private vehicle. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on Olympic Avenue at approximately 7:44 a.m. They found that 33-year-old Billie Jean Byerly of Coon Rapids was traveling northbound in a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer, when she lost control on the slick roadway just south of 250th Street. The SUV entered the east ditch and rolled. The Trailblazer was considered a total loss.
