Stolen Gas, A Disruptive Juvenile And More Citations For Underage Use Of Vaping Products Reported By Jefferson PD

The Jefferson Police Department received reports of stolen gasoline, assisted with a disruptive student and cited several teens for use of illegal products. On Tuesday, Oct. 9, the department was notified at approximately 8:05 a.m. by Home Care Medical that gasoline had been stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of North Wilson Avenue. An investigation has been initiated and local camera footage is being reviewed. In the early afternoon hours, officers were requested to assist with a disruptive 10-year-old male at the Greene County Middle School. At the conclusion of the investigation, the juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct and fifth-degree criminal mischief, both simple misdemeanors. And in their efforts to cut down on the underage use of tobacco and vaping products, authorities cited two more Greene County High School students who were found to be in possession of vaping devices.
