Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), Olsen, Muhlbauer & Co., L.L.P., filed an audit report on the Carroll County Solid Waste Management Commission last week. The report for the year ending June 30, 2018, showed total revenues of more than $3.17 million, which included more than $2.3 million in tipping fees and just shy of $500,000 in recycled product sales. Expenses and disbursements for the year came to nearly $2.8 million, which covered over $630,000 in salaries and benefits, almost $1 million in depreciations and over $330,000 in long-range planning and engineering. Over the course of that year, the commission also spent almost $700,000 on capital improvements, which included new equipment.
