The Diocese of Sioux City and Bishop, the Most Reverend R. Walker Nickless, are pleased to announce they will be ordaining three men as Transitional Diaconates this coming Saturday, June 2 at the Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City. Ross Caniglia of Sioux City is attending the St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology in Indiana and will serve this summer as deacon at Holy Trinity Parish in Fort Dodge after being ordained. Pedro Pablo is also from Sioux City and is attending St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Colorado and will be spending the summer serving as deacon in Le Mars. The final Diaconate, Tim Pick, is from Le Mars and attends the St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. He will spend the summer as deacon in Sioux City. All three men will return for their final year of studies in the fall and be ordained into the priesthood in June of 2019.
