The Raccoon Valley Electric Cooperative (RVEC) will be hosting their annual meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at the Lincoln Club in Glidden. The meeting will convene at 7 p.m. and members will be asked to vote on three seats, for three-year terms on the board of directors. These include district two incumbent, Dennis Kennebeck, who is facing a challenger, Pat Tigges. The other two candidates are running unopposed, Tim Reever in district three and incumbent, Mark Ludwig, in district five. Ludwig, who is also the secretary, will join President, David Onken in providing an overview of the annual report and the financial condition of the cooperative at year end, Dec. 31, 2017. CEO, Jim Gossett, will then provide insights into the 2017 operations.
