Press Conference For Updates On Mollie Tibbetts’ Investigation Scheduled For Today

The Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office has announced they will be holding a press conference today (Tuesday) regarding the Mollie Tibbetts’ investigation. According to the Iowa Department of Public Safety, this 1:30 p.m. press conference will provide updates in the investigation, tip line and other information from the Missing Persons Clearinghouse as well as details about rewards. Tibbetts was last seen going for a jog on Wednesday, July 18 in her hometown of Brooklyn. She had been dog-sitting at her boyfriend’s home while he was out of town on business. To date, they have searched hog farms and other rural areas to no avail. A $1,000 reward from the Crime Stoppers of Central Iowa has been doubled by the T.I.P. Rural Electric Cooperative of Brooklyn. Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of Mollie Tibbetts is asked to contact the Poweshiek County Sheriff’s Office through the methods included below.
