Opportunity Living Announces Closure Of Celebrations To Go

Calhoun County intermediate care facility, Opportunity Living, has announced they will be closing their retail store in Lake City later this summer. The board of directors made the decision to cease business operations at Celebrations to Go at the end of July during a meeting late last month. The board said in a press release that the store used to thrive printing wedding invitations, napkins and other similar items, but changes in commerce made operating the store unsustainable. Celebrations to Go was established to give their clients a way to actively participate in the community, and the Opportunity Living board and staff were all disappointed to see the store close. They offered thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported the business over the years. The Celebrations to Go liquidation process began June 1. Products, excluding Titan gear and used clothing, are 30 percent off until June 16. Discounts jump to 40 percent from June 18 to June 30, 50 percent from July 2 to July 14 and 75 percent or more from July 16 to July 31, the store’s final day. All gift certificates must be redeemed by June 30.
