Only Minor Damages, But Driver Leaves Scene Of Accident

There was only minor damage in a parking lot accident in the Kuemper Catholic School System’s high school parking lot, but the driver left without reporting the incident. The Carroll Police Department responded at approximately 3:27 p.m. Thursday and found that a red 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix had sustained about $1,000 in damages. A witness informed the officer that the other person involved was 18-year-old Stone Smith of Carroll, who was driving a 2009 Ford F150. Smith was later located by authorities.
