Norwalk Man Accused Of Equipment Theft From Carroll Dealer Slated For Trial July 10

A trial date for a Norwalk man accused of stealing machinery from a Carroll dealership has been scheduled for later this summer. The jury trial for 35-year-old Gregory Stephen Foust is slated to begin on Tuesday, July 10 at the Carroll County Courthouse. Foust entered a not guilty plea to first-degree theft, a class C felony, and possession of marijuana, a serious misdemeanor. According to court records, Foust took a Bobcat skid loader from Haley Equipment on April 28. Authorities located marijuana while executing a search warrant on his vehicle the following day. A pretrial conference is scheduled to take place on Monday, June 25 to determine if the case will be resolved by plea agreement, be dismissed or be tried. If found guilty of the charge, Foust faces up to 10 years in prison and $12,000 in fines.
