There will be a new face for Kuemper’s Annual Giving and Alumni initiatives, as Cindy Lawler will take over duties as director on Jan. 3, 2019. “She will be a wonderful addition to our fundraising and stewardship efforts along with keeping our many St. Angela and Kuemper alumni connected to their alma mater,” says Kuemper President, John Steffes. Lawler is originally from Cedar Rapids. She graduated from Iowa State University and she and her husband, Kevin, have six children and seven grandchildren. Their youngest child will be graduating from Kuemper in May and they also have two grandchildren enrolled in the system. Lawler says she is very grateful for this opportunity. “I am excited about the 2019 Kuemper Ball as well as upcoming alumni activities, and I look forward to meeting so many Kuemper Knights!” she says.
