Nebraska Woman Arrested After Chase In Western Iowa

A Nebraska woman was taken into custody after leading an Iowa State Patrol trooper into a high-speed pursuit Wednesday evening. At approximately 7:49 p.m., the trooper was south of Missouri Valley on northbound Interstate 29 and attempted to pull over a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria, driven by 27-year-old Demi Lynn Jahn of Omaha. Jahn refused to stop, but exited the interstate, traveling through Missouri Valley and to the northeast. She lost control and rolled the vehicle between Missouri Valley and Logan. Jahn was arrested and her passenger, 22-year-old Kay Lou-Marie Dilley of Pisgah, was airlifted to the University of Nebraska Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The incident remains under investigation. Jahn had been arrested in April of this year in Sarpy County Nebraska and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of K2 or marijuana, first offense, possession of a controlled substance, no proof of insurance and no valid registration.
