The Gilbert and Barbara Renze Charitable Foundation has announced the July 2018 grant cycle is now open for charitable projects in Carroll and Sac Counties. The applicants must be a 501(c)(3) charity or other qualified entity, such as a municipality. Grant applications are available through the foundation’s trustee, Iowa Savings Bank in Carroll. These must be returned no later than 4:30 p.m. on July 6. Including the $64,400 to be distributed in 2018, the Gilbert and Barbara Renze Charitable Foundation will have distributed more than $594,000 since its creation.
