The public is being invited to a campaign rally at the Carroll County Democratic Party Headquarters next week to meet and hear from not only a local candidate, but Governor of Montana, Steve Bullock. On Friday, Oct. 26, Democratic candidate for District 12 Iowa House of Representatives, Peter Leo, will join Bullock at 4 p.m. to discuss their vision for the future of Iowa and the nation. A question and answer session will follow their messages. Leo says Bullock is an inspiration and his leadership an example of “how to bring people of all political stripes together on a set of shared values and priorities.” Bullock is in his second term as Governor and has expanded Medicaid, passed an Earned Income Tax Credit, established the state’s first public pre-kindergarten program and passed anti-dark money bills. Prior to being elected, he served in public office as a labor attorney.
