Man Wanted For Escape From Pennsylvania Facility Apprehended In Grand Junction

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office assisted U.S Marshal’s in apprehending a man who escaped from a halfway house in Pennsylvania. On Monday, July 2, at approximately 11:18 a.m., Kuron Dennis, Jr. of Grand Junction was taken into custody. Dennis was 21 at the time he walked away from a Dauphin County work release center. On Feb. 9 of this year, Dennis removed his monitoring device and disappeared after being granted a furlough from the center. Authorities have been searching for him since on felony escape charges as well as for criminal mischief.
