Some pretty nice perks are available to area residents who have signed up to participate in the Live Healthy Iowa 10 Week Challenge. The fitness competition got underway Jan. 22, and access cards were made available to registered participants online. In the Carroll area, that access card allows users to receive a free two-week membership to Anytime Fitness, a free seven-day membership for fitness classes or rec center access at the Carroll Rec Center, $5 off a one-year membership at the Glidden Wellness Center, $10 off regular priced shoes at Brown’s Shoe Fit Company, $12 off running or walking shoes at Michael’s Shoes and 15 percent off one pair of walking or running shoes at Uptown Sporting Goods. The Denison Aquatic Center is offering a $2 adult admission for unlimited uses and 10 percent off of a 3-month adult membership.
