Lake View’s city limits could be expanding again in the near future to make room for a new housing addition on the eastern side of town. At the most recent city council meeting, Bob Terrell approached the council to propose development of his four-acre parcel. City Administrator, Scott Peterson, says Terrell is still in the very early planning stages.
Current designs have the four-acre property being separated into about 26 separate lots. Peterson says annexation is likely and outfitting the future homes with utilities in the future should be easy.
Terrell completed substantial site work last fall, and Peterson sees this as a good sign the project will likely proceed to completion. Once the city has annexed the land, it will need to be platted along and some additional administrative work completed. Information on the pricing or types of homes to be constructed is not yet available.
