A special service at Kuemper Catholic Schools is open to the public. President, John Steffes, wants to remind area residents that this is a time for quiet reflection, made available to everyone at the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
Steffes says that it is heartwarming to see the kids taking part.
Although this is done every Friday, the day is designed a little differently for students on the first Friday of every month.
The Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is held at the newly renovated chapel and starts at about 8:30 a.m. It then closes down near the end of the school day, at about 3:15 p.m.
