A Jefferson woman was arrested after cashing out another person’s gaming machine at Wild Rose Casino Resort Jefferson. At approximately 2:42 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 31, the casino requested the presence of a Jefferson Police Department officer. A female patron had reported briefly leaving her gaming machine, when 59-year-old Lorrie Leiann Lawrence cashed out the remaining money. Video of the event confirmed the patron’s allegations and Lawrence was taken into custody on fifth-degree theft charges, a simple misdemeanor.
