Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Naig, is making a stop in Jefferson today (Wednesday), in an effort to highlight the importance of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). He will be stopping at Landus Cooperative in Jefferson at 2 p.m. this afternoon to meet with Landus Cooperative officials and tour the facility. He is also scheduled to be present as a train is loaded with corn and departs the cooperative, headed for Mexico.
