Democratic candidate for Iowa House District 12, Peter Leo, is inviting the public to join him for a pre-holiday event in Manning this Saturday. Leo will be joined by State Treasurer, Mike Fitzgerald, at the Great Western Shelter House from noon to 2 p.m. for a “Cookout and Conversation.” After both Fitzgerald and Leo give a brief address to the audience, constituents are encouraged to ask their questions about the issues facing Iowans. The lunch event will include a meal of hamburgers and hot dogs, with free-will donations accepted, but not required.
