The Iowa Citizens for Community Improvement (ICCI) and Food & Water Watch are coming to Rockwell City later this week. On Thursday, Oct. 11, the two organizations will be at the Rockwell City Library from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Representatives from the groups will inform attendees about their work with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on ensuring clean water for Iowans and forcing factory farms to comply with the Clean Water Act. They will also discuss their push for a moratorium on new factory farms in Iowa and how to get personally involved in their effort to fight for clean water. Registration is requested from individuals interested in attending the meeting and can be completed by following the link included with this story on our website. ICCI and Food & Water Watch are also holding meetings in Des Moines and Mason City on Oct. 10 and Oct. 12, respectively.
