House Representative Best Says Tax Changes Will Benefit Iowa Residents And Businesses

Iowa House District 12 Representative, Brian Best, says as he has been traveling throughout the district ahead of the Tuesday, Nov. 6 mid-term general election, he is hearing a lot of questions about the changes made to Iowa’s taxes.

He says he is really excited about another aspect of the changes to the tax code that will go into effect at the onset of next year. This will not only bring in more revenue for the state, but also give a hand up to local businesses.

Best stresses that if we don’t keep supporting the local businesses, we are likely going to see problems showing up within the next 10 years. A recent report has given Best reason to believe that consumers are looking to local more and more often.

Best is running for his third term in the Iowa House and currently sits on the Human Resources and Commerce Committees. He also chairs the Budget Committee for the Iowa Economic Development Authority and the Iowa Workforce Development and Cultural Affairs Committee.
