High-Speed Chase Tuesday Morning Ends Quickly With Crash Southeast Of Glidden

Carroll and Greene County law enforcement joined forces in a high-speed chase, lasting only about 10 minutes on Tuesday morning. At approximately 8:32 a.m., several units headed east out of Carroll on U.S. Highway 30 on reports of a black car that was confirmed stolen by Fort Dodge authorities. The driver attempted to elude law enforcement by jogging south and east on several different roads, until the chase ended when the driver crashed the vehicle into the ditch southeast of Glidden, at 220th Street and Union Avenue, at approximately 8:43 a.m. Authorities were able to take the suspect into custody at the scene. Carroll Broadcasting will bring you more details as official reports become available.
