It is not something you see every day—a driver sleeping in their car in traffic. The Storm Lake Police Department, however, has after they received a call at approximately 12:24 p.m. Tuesday to the intersection of West 4th Street and College Avenue. They arrived to find 38-year-old Apollo Price of Storm Lake stopped in the lane of traffic and asleep at the wheel. It was determined that Price was intoxicated, and he was arrested and transported to the Buena Vista County jail. He has been charged with public intoxication, second offense, and driving while barred, both aggravated misdemeanors, as well as open container, a simple misdemeanor. He was held on a $6,000 bond.
