The 10 Squared Women of Guthrie County have again made a substantial contribution to an area organization that benefits the community. Last week, representatives from the group presented a check for more than $11,000 to the Guthrie Activity Center in Guthrie Center. The building is generally rented for use during graduations, parties, reunions and meetings and provides a place for these events at an affordable price. The activity center is currently undergoing a major renovation and was chosen to receive the gift to help fund that effort. Ten Squared Women of Guthrie County is a collection of 104 women who look to provide financial support four times per year to projects that benefit the people they serve.
