Gov. Reynolds Orders Flags To Half-Staff Memorial Day Morning

Gov. Kim Reynolds has ordered all flags in Iowa be lowered to half-staff the morning of Memorial Day, Monday, May 28. Flags will be at half-staff from sunrise to noon at the State Capitol complex in Des Moines as well as on all public buildings, grounds and facilities throughout the state. Individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities, counties and other government subdivisions are encouraged to participate during this time as a sign of respect for the individuals who died while serving in our nation’s armed services.
