Gov. Reynolds Orders Flags To Half-Staff For 30 Days In Honor Of Former President Bush

Gov. Kim Reynolds has ordered all flags at half-staff effective immediately and continuing for 30 days to honor former President George HW Bush. She says, “America lost a great leader with the passing of George HW Bush. A man whose legacy is one of service, statesmanship and values. […] We didn’t just lose a patriot who dedicated his life to serving America, but also a loving husband, father and grandfather who now leaves behind a grieving family.” She adds that our hearts and prayers go out to his family and that she hopes the nation will remember his legacy as a leader and public servant. Flags will be at half-staff at the State Capitol Building and in the Capitol Complex as well as on all public buildings, grounds and facilities across the state. Individuals, businesses, schools, municipalities, counties and other government subdivisions are encouraged to also fly their flags at half-staff during this time.
