Immediately after completing her first Condition of the State Address in January, Gov. Kim Reynolds announced that she and Lt. Gov., Adam Gregg, would be traveling the state to hear directly from Iowans. Titled the “Unleashing Opportunity” tour, Reynolds says these road trips provide them a touchpoint with citizens to hear about their ideas on building a better Iowa and unleashing opportunity in every corner of the state. Reynolds and Gregg will continue their tour this week with a stop in Carroll on Thursday, March 29. They will be meeting with area residents at Hy-Vee beginning at 1 p.m. and then will make another tour stop in Sac City, at Hutch’s Café at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 30. Following those stops, Reynolds and Gregg will tour Midwest Industries in Ida Grove and women-owned businesses in Ute later in the day Friday.
