Friday marks the start of something tasty, Main Street Iowa’s Restaurant Week. From Sept. 14 through Sept. 23, Iowans are encouraged to travel to and dine at establishments in Main Street communities across the state. Nearly 150 restaurants in 28 communities will be featuring special dining offers. “We have nearly doubled the number of communities participating this year,” says Main Street Iowa Coordinator, Michael Wagler. “There’s no better way to get the flavor of a community than by dining at a local restaurant, bar or bistro. Restaurant Week provides the perfect incentive for people to explore the state,” Wagler adds. A link to find the participating communities and their restaurants can be found here.
