A campaign rally scheduled for this afternoon (Friday) has been cancelled. Steve Bullock, Governor of Montana, was slated to attend the 4 p.m. event with Peter Leo, Democratic candidate for Iowa House District 12. However, a scheduling conflict has arisen and Bullock is now unable to attend. A new rally and opportunity for area voters to meet Leo and Iowa Attorney General, Tom Miller, is scheduled for next week. The two will speak to attendees on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 5 p.m. at Kerp’s Tavern on 5th Street in Carroll. A question-and-answer session will follow their remarks.
