Former Glidden-Ralston Employee And Coach Pleads Not Guilty To Sexual Misconduct With Student

A former Glidden-Ralston Community School District employee and coach indicted on sexual misconduct charges has entered a not guilty plea. Twenty-eight-year-old Evan Michael Genter, of Glidden, is accused of sexual exploitation by a school employee, a class D felony, and indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor. The charges stem from incidents between Jan. 5 and March 9 of this year in which he allegedly displayed “a pattern, practice or scheme” of sexual misconduct with a female student. A jury trial has been scheduled in Carroll County District Court for Tuesday, May 22. If found guilty of the charges, Genter faces up to seven years in prison and nearly $14,000 in fines.
