The brief storms that swept through Carroll and Calhoun Counties between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. this morning (Tuesday) created some power outages in the area. MidAmerican Energy has reported that there are more than 234 customers to the northern edge of Carroll without power and about 219 reported near Auburn and nine near Westside. Crews have been deployed to these areas and service is expected to be restored between now and 7:30 a.m.
