Court Date Set For Carroll Man Accused Of Felony Burglary

The court date for a Carroll man facing burglary charges has been scheduled for next week. Fifty-four-year-old Randall Joseph Woodward will appear in District Court for Carroll County on Tuesday, Jan. 9. He has been charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony, stemming from an incident on July 13 in which Woodward is accused of taking items from an apartment on East 3rd Street. Woodward claims he was only collecting his property taken from his residence by the victim. The case will be tried as a bench trial, as Woodward has waived his right to a jury. If found guilty of the charge, Woodward faces up to five years in prison and a maximum fine of $7,500.
