Officials in Coon Rapids are seeking the public’s help in identifying a possible water leak somewhere within the community. According to the staff at Coon Rapids Municipal Utilities (CRMU), workers noticed an increase to the volume of water being pumped through the system earlier this week and led them to conclude that a minor leak is the most likely culprit. The location of the issue is unknown at this time and finding it will be difficult due to its small size. General Manager, Brad Honold, indicates it is unlikely that customers will experience any decrease in water pressure and asks anybody that sees evidence of a leak, primarily running water in unexpected places, to contact CRMU at 999-2225 as soon as possible.
