Compatibility With Mobile Phones And Focus On Tourism The Reason Behind Lake View’s Recent Website Changes

After months of work, an updated version of the City of Lake View’s website was unveiled earlier this week. Mayor, John Westergaard, was excited to see www.lakeviewlifestyle.com launch on Wednesday. He says the council has been considering a website rework for several years, and they feel this change will really fit the bill.

The city set aside $10,000 in its budget to finance the changes, and he feels confident that it will be worth every penny. Lake View sees thousands of people visit Black Hawk Lake every year, and Westergaard says they consulted with tourism advisers to help develop the page.

He adds the updates include more than just changes in how people can view their site. Westergaard says they’ve also made it easier to identify and locate the many amenities Lake View has to offer.

He notes that the updates are not finished quite yet. During this coming summer, the city will be posting short, 20-second videos of the businesses and restaurants in town to make it easier for tourists and residents to find exactly what they need. Westergaard says it is difficult to list all the changes and updates that were made and encourages people to check out www.lakeviewlifestyle.com for themselves.
