Carroll Community School District (CCSD) is inviting families and taxpayers to meet the new superintendent, Dr. Kevin Lein, only a few days before he takes over as the lead administrator for the public schools. Lein says good communications between the community and school is key to the success of both and starting that process is the goal of the meet and greet.
Before taking over as superintendent, Lein worked as the Regional Administrator for the Prairie Lakes Education Agency and served as a high school principal in South Dakota. He says their purpose is to always provide the best opportunities to their students and being easily accessible is the best route to achieve that.
The meet and greet will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 28 in the media center at the high school. The public is strongly encouraged to attend. Lein officially begins his contract as superintendent on Sunday, July 1.
